Earn a free workplace, mentoring, and more!

Orpheus Media Research, LLC is looking for a few music-minded interns to join our operation. Having recently recruited an all-star management team, we've moved our office to IndyHall in Old City Philadelphia and are opening opportunities for a select group of highly-motivated people to join the community and become part of a music technology startup.

The ideal candidate is...

  • a first-rate musician,

You'll manage and edit music catalog additions to ensure everything meets quality standards.
  • a self-starter,

If you see a way to improve something or find an unconventional way to apply your talents, go for it!
  • and a people person.

We work openly together to discover solutions as a team. If you need isolation and silence to focus, this opportunity isn't for you.

Bottom Line: The ideal candidate is looking to expand their musical skill-set to gain real-world experience by directly assisting an experienced team in building a cutting-edge music-technology company.

What do you get?

  • A free part-time desk at IndyHall.

You'll have lite-member access to a reserved desk at IndyHall. What makes is this so valuable? Read on...
  • An incredible network of mentors.

Having the collective experience of nearly 100 active members at your fingertips makes IndyHall one of the most interestingly diverse and well-connected group o' geeks on the east coast.
  • The most fun you'll probably ever have at work. Seriously.

IndyHall is a productivity powerhouse, but it's also a blast. Fun people, bright spaces, X-box and bean-bag chair lounge, 'Show and Tell', 'Saturday Morning Cartoons' and much, much more. (And yes, you get to call this your job!)
  • You'll be helping to shape an emerging technology in the music industry.

It's not just a tag line -- OMR is changing the shape of music in our world.
  • A chance to show us you've got what it takes.

Sure, we could hire cheap labor to help out here and there, but we're really interested in building a long-term relationship with amazing people.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talents and potentially earn a long-term position with us!

What are the minimum requirements?

  • Days and hours are flexible. (minimum 5hr/wk commitment)
  • You must read music and have a solid music theory background.
  • You must be fluent with Sibelius music notation software.
  • You must have a burning passion to be part of a fast-paced, constantly-evolving work environment.
  • And most importantly, you must be willing to work hard.

If feel you're ready to take on this exciting challenge, drop us a line and introduce yourself! We'll get back to you and let you know when we'd like to meet.
